Bio
I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to God-fearing parents. I understood the Gospel & my need for forgiveness at a very young age but drifted very far from its power throughout middle school, high school, and college. After a desperate cry out to God in a very dark season of my life, God showed me an insurmountable amount of grace and helped me understand His heart in a way that radically changed my life.

Through this time (and the rest of my life since) I have heavily leaned on John 10:10 as one of the truths in which I see my life through. “The thief has come to kill, steal, and destroy. But I have come to give life, and life abundantly.” God’s desire for us is abundant life. It’s not always easy or comfortable following Christ, but it is deeply satisfying and filled with peace. The enemy (as well as the world & our flesh) desires to bring death & destruction, though they mask it as the way of ease, comfort, and happiness. Understanding this more as well as helping others understand this is one of my greatest joys in life.

My wife, Heather, and I married in 2021, sealing my fate as the single most blessed man to ever walk this earth. We have two boys (Shepherd & Leo) that have zero reservations about living life to the fullest, and a cat (Opal) that brings equal parts joy and ruin into our lives.

I attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida and New York from 2017-2019 and continued as staff until the beginning of 2025, working in both the Bible Institute and in Youth Camps. We received the call to be more intentionally involved in the church in early 2025, prompting us to move to Chattanooga in faith and pursue that call. God led us to Gospel Community Church in this time, opening the door for me to do what I love most by working with children, teens, and college students.
