THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS' LIFE
Jesus was perfect in every way.
He lived for the Father and loved people perfectly. His every thought, word, and deed were lived for the sake of others, and because he was willing to come and live the perfect life we could not live, through faith in Him we are provided his perfection. Through faith in His righteousness, His righteousness is credited to our account and we stand perfect in the eyes of the Father because we stand perfect in Christ.
We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21
21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.

THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS' DEATH
The penalty for sin is death, but
Jesus never sinned! So why did He die?
The Bible tells us He was paying the penalty for our sin. He endured what he did not deserve in order to save us from what we do deserve. He
willingly took our punishment for us. He took our place. And when we acknowledge our sin, placing our faith, not in what we have done to escape it, but in what Jesus has done to rescue us from it, then our sins are nailed to the cross, forgiveness is provided and salvation is experienced.
13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.
Colossians 2:13-14
14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.
Hebrews 2:14-15
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS' RESURRECTION
The death of Jesus was not the end. Not only is Jesus’ life and death good news for us, but so is
His resurrection. In His resurrection, we see that death has been destroyed and God has done what He
promised to do! Through Jesus God has made a way for people to be restored to a
right relationship with God and begin to live again for His Kingdom and purposes.
19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Ephesians 1:19-21
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
